What better place to watch Project Wild Thing than OUTSIDE?

Go Wild will be hosting a screening of Project Wild Thing, an amusing story of what happens when a father of two decides that his children need less screen time and more wild time. A mixture of caper and documentary this film is a humorous journey that unearths some painful truths about modern family life and one father’s struggle to get his family back to nature.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a Go Wild gathering without some good grub and refreshments, so there will be delicious cakes, snacks and drinks on sale beforehand.

We’ve chosen to host this screening because Go Wild is a part of The Wild Network, a collaborative network of thousands of individuals, charities and schools, healthcare providers and local government. We believe spending time roaming, playing and learning in the wild enables children to
be at their most creative, healthy and connected to the world around them. Together The Wild Network encourage conversations, solutions, collaborations and, most importantly, ACTION by
demonstrating how Wild Time can be an integral part of modern life in families, schools and communities by sharing stories of the amazing work already happening across the world.

We think this film is a must watch for anyone- professional, amateur or other- who is interested in childrens’ health and education, outdoor learning, forest school, the environment or just human beings. After the film there will be a discussion lead by our Director, Jackie Roby, to give everyone an
opportunity to share their thoughts of the film.

The film and discussion is free but booking is essential. All ages welcome.
