These tempting treats are synonymous with Christmas in our house. They are never made at any other time of the year and, to our family, they are more festive than mince pies (and disappear in half the time).
I feel very lucky that I have had this opportunity to start something so magical and feel a strong sense of pride when I speak about my career, this was not the case before I studied my Forest School Leadership.
Reminiscent of a sweet pickled onion followed by a wild garlic thwack. Pick the buds when they’re fat and just about to burst. They make a glorious thunking noise as you pick them.
The first blog in a new series called My Forest School Journey comes from our very own founder, Jackie Roby. Find out how and why she created Go Wild and find out more about her.
Jackie shows you how to make a simple bird feeder using an apple and a butter knife.
